Villard Larive vs Xing-fu Kwok

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/09/2039 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Villard Larive (23 - 4) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Xing-fu Kwok(1 - 3) from Hangzhou, China.  

Round 1: 

Larive lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Larive sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Larive connects with a solid cross.  
Larive snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Larive lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Larive drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Kwok pivots to the side of his opponent, but Larive lands a cross.  
Kwok closes the distance.  Larive drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Kwok lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Larive is on target with a jab.

Kwok gets on the inside.  Larive lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Larive lands a stinging jab.

Larive voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kwok accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Larive.  Kwok connects with a left hook.
