Quico Limas vs Wandisile Ekstein

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/09/2039 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quico Limas (20 - 5) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Wandisile Ekstein(1 - 3) from Soweto, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Limas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Limas lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Limas steps to the outside.  Ekstein drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Ekstein is looking to close the distance and forces Limas to back into the corner.  Limas lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Limas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Limas throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ekstein sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Limas lands a spiteful jab.

Ekstein throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Limas's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Limas switches the action to the outside.  Limas feints a jab, but Ekstein does not fall for it and responds with a left hook.  
Ekstein steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Limas steps away from his opponent.  Limas feints a left hook, and then finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Limas lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.

Ekstein tries to land a right hook, but Limas slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Limas is looking to keep his distance.  Limas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Limas lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ekstein closes the distance.  Limas lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ekstein advances into close range and manouvers Limas onto the ropes.  Limas drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.
