Gennady Mucashev vs Abbad Almagri

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/09/2039 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gennady Mucashev (69(14) - 6) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Abbad Almagri(2 - 0) from Khenifra, Morocco.  

Round 1: 

Mucashev is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mucashev lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Almagri could be stopped here, if Mucashev can find the right shot!  Mucashev lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, KNOCKING ALMAGRI DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Almagri now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mucashev lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mucashev lands a left hook.  
Mucashev steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mucashev is on target with a nasty left hook.  ALMAGRI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Almagri now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mucashev advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mucashev lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mucashev manages to force Almagri onto the ropes.  Mucashev drives a left uppercut into Almagri's body.  
Mucashev lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mucashev drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Mucashev lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Almagri tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm cross.  Almagri now seems to have his senses back.  
Almagri hits home with a firm cross.  
Almagri steps to the outside.  Mucashev attempts to land a cross, but Almagri sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mucashev pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mucashev crashes a MASSIVE right hook to Almagri's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE ALMAGRI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  Mucashev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Almagri quickly recovers.

Mucashev sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mucashev lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mucashev ties up his opponent.  Mucashev pushes his forearm into Almagri's face.  The referee warns Mucashev and breaks the clinch.  
Mucashev is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Mucashev is on target with a MASSIVE left hook.  ALMAGRI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  Almagri now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mucashev hits home with a sharp cross.  
Mucashev is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mucashev lands with a solid jab.  
Mucashev advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  Mucashev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mucashev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Almagri almost instantly recovers. 
Mucashev lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mucashev steps inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Mucashev ties up his opponent.  Mucashev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mucashev gets on the inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Almagri drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Almagri throws a left hook, but Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mucashev advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mucashev lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Mucashev is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mucashev whips in a mean left hook to Almagri's body.  ALMAGRI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Mucashev gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mucashev closes the distance and whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  ALMAGRI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT ALMAGRI CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mucashev!
