Carlos Padron vs Agapetus Sepeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/09/2039 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Padron (36(10) - 4) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Agapetus Sepeda(2 - 0) from Cali, Colombia.  

Round 1: 

Padron lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sepeda digs in a left hook to Padron's ribs.  
Padron forces Sepeda to back into the ropes.  Padron sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Sepeda is on target with a right hook.  
Sepeda digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Padron lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Padron sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sepeda tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Padron advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Sepeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Padron is on target with a telling left hook to Sepeda's body.  SEPEDA IS HURT!  
Padron knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Padron slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  SEPEDA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Sepeda closes the distance.  Padron lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS SEPEDA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Sepeda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Padron lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Sepeda could be stopped here, if Padron can find the right shot!  Padron lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  It looks like Sepeda has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Padron lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Padron lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Sepeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Padron connects with a cross.  
Padron finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Sepeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Sepeda is looking to close the distance.  Padron hits home with a firm left hook.  
Sepeda is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Padron ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Padron pushes his forearm into Sepeda's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Padron.

Sepeda advances into close range.  Padron connects with a stinging left hook.  Padron ties up his opponent.  Padron leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Padron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Padron lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Padron lands a solid cross.  
Padron hits home with a sharp cross.  
Sepeda steps inside.  Sepeda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sepeda throws a left uppercut, but Padron clinches his opponent.  Padron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Sepeda pushes his forearm into Padron's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sepeda.  
Padron lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Padron is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Padron lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Padron gets on the inside.  Sepeda throws a left hook, but Padron holds on to his opponent.  Padron throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sepeda closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Padron ties up his opponent.  Padron leans on his opponent using all his weight. Sepeda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Padron's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sepeda.  
Padron sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Sepeda is on target with a right hook.  
Sepeda throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Padron gets on the inside.  Padron sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sepeda throws a right hook, but Padron clinches his opponent.  Padron is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Padron lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sepeda almost instantly recovers. 
Padron walks Sepeda onto the ropes.  Sepeda is on target with a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sepeda's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Padron connects with a left hook.  
Padron advances into close range and slams a mean left uppercut into his opponents body.  SEPEDA IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Padron!
