Justin Reece vs Kris Whittum

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/10/2039 from Charleston, USA:

The Charleston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Justin Reece (14 - 7) who hails from Columbia, USA and Kris Whittum(0 - 2) from Santa Ana, USA.  

Round 1: 

Whittum pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Reece hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Reece lands a solid jab.  
Whittum forces Reece to back into the ropes.  Reece drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Whittum quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Reece digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Reece tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Whittum is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Whittum tries to land a left uppercut, but Reece blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Reece steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Reece is on target with a jab.  
Whittum connects with a cross.  Whittum throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Whittum walks Reece down, trapping him in the corner.  Reece connects with a left hook.  
Whittum is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Reece's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Whittum hits home with a solid right uppercut.
