Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/11/2039 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Michie (53 - 8) who hails from Houston, USA and Brad McCleod(2 - 13) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

McCleod tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McCleod pivots to the side of his opponent, but Michie hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Michie steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Michie steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Michie steps inside.  McCleod attempts to land a right hook, but Michie slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Michie manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Michie lands a left hook.  
Michie is looking to close the distance.  McCleod throws a left hook, but Michie clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Michie pushes his forearm into McCleod's face.  The referee warns Michie and breaks the clinch.  
Michie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Michie feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Michie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Michie steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McCleod lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Michie steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Michie hits home with a cross.  
Michie is looking to close the distance.  Michie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McCleod is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Michie sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.

Michie forces McCleod to back into a corner.  Michie lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Michie's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. McCleod's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Michie tries to keep the action at long range.  Michie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Michie feints a jab, tricking McCleod into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Michie avoids the shot and counters with a cross.  
Michie lands with a ramrod jab.  
Michie tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
McCleod attempts to land a jab, but Michie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Michie steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
McCleod forces Michie to retreat into the corner.  Michie finds the target with a jab.  
McCleod lands a spiteful jab.
