Quiqui Cobarrubias vs Fumio Takemoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/11/2039 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quiqui Cobarrubias (53 - 10) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Fumio Takemoto(1 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Takemoto pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Takemoto is on target with a cross.  
Cobarrubias hits home with a right hook.  
Cobarrubias digs in a left hook to Takemoto's liver.  
Cobarrubias digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Takemoto throws a right hook, but Cobarrubias ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Takemoto pushes his forearm into Cobarrubias's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cobarrubias walks Takemoto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Takemoto lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cobarrubias lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Cobarrubias steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Cobarrubias ties up his opponent.  Cobarrubias is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Cobarrubias pushes his forearm into Takemoto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cobarrubias about fouling.
