Alec Boyce vs Ian Henard

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/12/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alec Boyce (27(1) - 4) who hails from Stockton, USA and Ian Henard(3 - 13) from Cleveland, USA.  

Round 1: 

Boyce lands with a stiff jab.  
Boyce gets on the inside.  Henard throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Boyce holds on to his opponent.  Boyce pushes his forearm into Henard's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Boyce drives a sharp right hook into Henard's ribs.  Boyce clinches his opponent.  Henard tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Boyce behind the head. As they grapple, Boyce pushes his forearm into Henard's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Boyce.

Henard hits home with a right hook.  
Boyce digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Boyce gets on the inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.

Boyce walks Henard onto the ropes.  Boyce tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Henard steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Boyce lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Boyce clinches his opponent.  Boyce leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Boyce throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Henard's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Boyce gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Boyce sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Henard is looking to keep his distance and lands with a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Henard's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
