Santiago Abela vs Manusama Handaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/12/2039 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Abela (6 - 2) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Manusama Handaya(2 - 4) from Surabaya, Indonesia.  

Round 1: 

Abela lands a straight 1 - 2.

Handaya is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Abela on the ropes.  Handaya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Abela is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Handaya lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Abela pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abela tries to land a right hook, but Handaya blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Handaya connects with a right hook.  
Abela lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Handaya steps inside.  Abela drives a right uppercut into Handaya's body.  
Abela switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Abela's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Handaya's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Handaya lands a left hook.  
Abela is on target with a solid right hook.  
Handaya lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Handaya digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Abela connects with a stinging right hook.  
Handaya throws a left hook, but Abela holds on to his opponent.  Handaya uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Abela's kidney. As they grapple, Handaya pushes his forearm into Abela's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Handaya to stop fouling.  
Handaya throws a left hook, but Abela ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Abela pushes his forearm into Handaya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Abela about fouling.  
Abela lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.
