Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/12/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (40 - 10) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Rob McChesney(1 - 13) from Charlotte, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to McChesney's ribcage.  
Jerden lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden steps inside.  Jerden pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into McChesney's body.  
Jerden leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McChesney is whaling away with hooks, but Jerden keeps his defence tight.  McChesney is on target with a right hook.  Jerden ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McChesney pushes his forearm into Jerden's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McChesney.  
McChesney throws a left hook, but Jerden holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McChesney pushes his forearm into Jerden's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McChesney.  
Jerden closes the distance.  McChesney tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
McChesney hits home with a right hook.  
Jerden lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jerden lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
McChesney lands a cross.

McChesney quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Jerden lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McChesney is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Jerden parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jerden steps inside.  McChesney throws a right hook, but Jerden ties up his opponent.  Jerden uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on McChesney's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jerden about fouling.  
Jerden lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Jerden holds on to his opponent.  McChesney is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McChesney to stop fouling.  
McChesney pivots to the right of his opponent.  McChesney tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to McChesney's body.

Jerden lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McChesney is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.

McChesney throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
