Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/02/2040 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (42 - 10) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Mark Yates(2 - 8) from Virginia Beach, USA.  

Round 1: 

Yates lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Jerden lands a left hook.  
Yates steps to the outside and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Jerden is looking to close the distance.  Jerden pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden finds the target with a jab.  
Jerden steps inside and drives a right hook into Yates's body.  
Yates lands a right uppercut.  
Jerden advances into close range.  Yates throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Yates pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yates throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Yates finds the target with a jab.  
Jerden is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Yates steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Jerden gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden forces Yates to retreat into the corner.  Jerden is on target with a left hook.  
Yates attempts to land a right hook, but Jerden blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Yates lands a jab.  
Jerden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Yates's body.  
Yates pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Yates tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Jerden steps inside.  Jerden pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jerden is on target with a left hook.  Jerden ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Jerden attempts to land a right hook, but Yates slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jerden's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Jerden sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Jerden voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Yates tries to tag Jerden on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Yates lands a right hook.  
Yates is on target with a stiff jab.  
Yates quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Yates contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Jerden throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Jerden's body.

Jerden hits home with a left hook.
