The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cade Bedel (63(3) - 5) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Edmundo Merin(1 - 2) from Oruro, Bolivia.

Bedel closes the distance.  Bedel lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Bedel goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Merin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Bedel switches the action to the outside.  Bedel waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Merin tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Bedel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Merin sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Bedel is on target with a solid left hook.  
Merin walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Bedel is on target with a firm left hook to Merin's body.

Merin walks Bedel onto the ropes.  Merin sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Bedel lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bedel is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Merin finds the target with a jab.  
Bedel gets on the inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Bedel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Merin walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Bedel digs in a left hook to Merin's body.  
Bedel lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Merin drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Merin steps inside and throws a right hook, but Bedel holds on to his opponent.  Bedel pushes his forearm into Merin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bedel about fouling.  
Merin gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Bedel in the blue corner.  Merin hits home with a left uppercut.
