Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/03/2040 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Coey (39(3) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Jeraldo Almas(4 - 21) from Jacksonville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Coey closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Coey lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Coey advances into close range and lands a sharp left uppercut.

Coey advances into close range.  Coey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Coey lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Coey walks Almas into a corner.  Coey is on target with a left hook.

Almas pivots to the left of his opponent.  Coey attempts to land a jab, but Almas slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Coey cuts off the ring, trapping Almas on the ropes.  Coey lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Coey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Almas throws a left hook, but Coey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Coey pushes his forearm into Almas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Coey.

Coey lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Coey lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Coey ties up his opponent.  Coey uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Almas behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Coey to stop fouling.  
Almas throws a left uppercut, but Coey ties up his opponent.  Coey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Coey drives a left hook into Almas's body.  
Coey forces Almas to retreat into the corner.  Coey lands a firm left hook.  
Coey lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
