Daiki Takagi vs Ichiro Sanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/03/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daiki Takagi (38(4) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ichiro Sanda(1 - 0) from Matsudo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Takagi closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Sanda's body.  Takagi clinches his opponent.  Sanda pushes his forearm into Takagi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sanda.  
Takagi lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Takagi holds on to his opponent.  Takagi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Takagi to stop fouling.  
Sanda is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Takagi gets on the inside and manages to force Sanda into a corner.  Takagi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Takagi closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sanda tries to land a jab, but Takagi dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Sanda is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Takagi gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Takagi advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Takagi closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Takagi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Takagi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Takagi is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Takagi drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Sanda tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sanda throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Takagi pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Sanda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Takagi's body.  
Takagi closes the distance.  Sanda hits home with a left hook.  
Takagi closes the distance and lands a left hook.  Takagi ties up his opponent.  Takagi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sanda is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Takagi lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Takagi advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Takagi clinches his opponent.  Takagi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Takagi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Takagi lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Takagi clinches his opponent.  Takagi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Takagi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sanda's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Takagi lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Takagi clinches his opponent.  Takagi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sanda's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Takagi about fouling.

Takagi knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Takagi lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND SENDS SANDA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Takagi!
