Into Lappo vs Salomo Pykkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2040,  taking place on 26/03/2040 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Into Lappo (6 - 13) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Salomo Pykkonen(39 - 22(1)) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Pykkonen advances into close range.  Pykkonen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.

Pykkonen lands a sharp left uppercut.  Pykkonen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pykkonen pushes his forearm into Lappo's face.  The ref breaks Pykkonen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Lappo attempts to land a left hook, but Pykkonen slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Pykkonen closes the distance and manouvers Lappo onto the ropes.  Pykkonen pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pykkonen connects with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  LAPPO IS HURT!

Pykkonen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lappo hits home with a cross.  Lappo tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Pykkonen feints a left hook, and then drives a stinging cross into Lappo's body.  
Lappo connects with an overhand right.

Pykkonen is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Pykkonen lands a cross, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS LAPPO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Lappo now seems to have his senses back.  
Pykkonen feints a jab, and then is on target with a ramrod jab.
