Boxing Daily Report from the Guatemala National Finals 2040,  taking place on 26/03/2040 from Mixco, Guatemala:

The Mixco venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Osegueda (7 - 9) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Rodrigo Guadarrama(20 - 15) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Osegueda steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Guadarrama closes the distance.  Guadarrama sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Osegueda lands a left hook.  
Osegueda lands a right hook.  
Guadarrama is on target with a left hook.  
Guadarrama closes the distance.  Guadarrama quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Guadarrama forces Osegueda to back into the ropes.  Guadarrama throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Guadarrama holds on to his opponent.  Osegueda leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Guadarrama pushes his forearm into Osegueda's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
