Greg Abram vs John Leishman

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/03/2040 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Abram (45(15) - 11) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and John Leishman(14 - 12(1)) from Newark, USA.  

Round 1:

Abram advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Abram lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abram is on target with a right hook to Leishman's body.  
Abram steps inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Abram advances into close range and hits home with a firm left hook.  Abram tries to land a left hook, but Leishman blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Abram attempts to land a jab, but Leishman sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Leishman lands a solid jab.  
Leishman digs in a sharp left hook to Abram's liver.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Leishman throws a left hook, but Abram holds on to his opponent.  Leishman pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abram lands a cross to the body, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Abram gets on the inside.  Leishman is on target with a solid right hook.  
Abram lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Abram gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Abram lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Abram steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Leishman now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abram throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram pushes his forearm into Leishman's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abram.  
Abram is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram digs in a right uppercut to Leishman's ribcage.  
Abram lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram drives a left hook into Leishman's body.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abram connects with a firm left hook.  
Leishman sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Abram lands a cross.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Leishman lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Leishman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram cuts off the ring, trapping Leishman on the ropes.  Abram hits home with a right hook.  
Abram is on target with a firm right hook.

Abram closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Abram drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Abram pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.

Abram lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Leishman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Leishman throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abram gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Leishman's body.  
Leishman tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Leishman's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Abram drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Leishman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Leishman to stop fouling.  
Abram connects with a right uppercut.  
Abram drives a solid left hook into Leishman's body.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Leishman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abram hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Leishman digs in a left hook to Abram's body.  
Abram lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Leishman hits home with a left uppercut.  
Abram lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND LEISHMAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Abram manouvers Leishman onto the ropes.  Leishman lands a stinging left hook.  
Some sustained pressure from Abram could be enough to finish Leishman!  Abram lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, DROPPING LEISHMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Abram!
