Mooses Kari vs Salomo Pykkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2040,  taking place on 29/03/2040 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mooses Kari (2 - 8) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Salomo Pykkonen(40 - 22(1)) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Pykkonen advances into close range.  Kari throws a left uppercut, but Pykkonen holds on to his opponent.  Pykkonen hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Kari is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Pykkonen lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pykkonen lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Pykkonen lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pykkonen hits home with a right hook.  
Pykkonen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kari almost instantly gets his legs back.

Pykkonen advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pykkonen walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Pykkonen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and EXPLODES a hurtful right hook into his opponents face.  KARI IS HURT!  Kari almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pykkonen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Pykkonen throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pykkonen tries to land a right hook, but Kari sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kari is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Pykkonen gets on the inside.  Pykkonen pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Pykkonen manouvers Kari onto the ropes.  Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kari throws a right hook, but Pykkonen clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pykkonen pushes his forearm into Kari's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Pykkonen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pykkonen lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Pykkonen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kari throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Pykkonen advances into close range.  Pykkonen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kari drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Pykkonen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pykkonen pushes his forearm into Kari's face.  The ref breaks Pykkonen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pykkonen pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Pykkonen lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kari recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pykkonen lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Pykkonen hits home with a left hook.  
Pykkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kari almost instantly recovers.

Pykkonen connects with a solid left hook.  
Pykkonen lands a right hook.  Pykkonen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pykkonen pushes his forearm into Kari's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pykkonen tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Pykkonen steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Pykkonen ties up his opponent.  Pykkonen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Pykkonen pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES KARI!  The count reaches 10, but Kari is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Pykkonen!
