Rashid Rashed vs Jay Boakye

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2040,  taking place on 29/03/2040 from Kumasi, Ghana:

The Kumasi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rashid Rashed (11 - 6) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Jay Boakye(32(10) - 22) from Takoradi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Boakye is looking to close the distance.  Rashed digs in a left hook to Boakye's body.  
Rashed tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rashed pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Rashed is looking to keep his distance and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Boakye gets on the inside.  Rashed drives a left uppercut into Boakye's body.  
Boakye drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Rashed pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Boakye advances into close range.  Rashed lands a left hook.  Boakye holds on to his opponent.  Rashed pushes his forearm into Boakye's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rashed to stop fouling.  
Boakye lands a firm left uppercut.  
Rashed quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Boakye lands a left hook.  
Rashed tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Boakye lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Boakye attempts to land a left hook, but Rashed blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rashed steps away from his opponent.  Boakye is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Boakye lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND SENDS RASHED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Rashed has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Boakye gets on the inside and forces Rashed to back into the ropes.  Boakye digs in a right hook to Rashed's body.  
Rashed throws a right hook, but Boakye ties up his opponent.  Boakye pushes his forearm into Rashed's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Boakye gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Boakye gets on the inside.  Rashed lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Boakye throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Boakye ties up his opponent.  Rashed leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Boakye gets on the inside and forces Rashed to back into the ropes.  Boakye tries to land a left uppercut, but Rashed slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Boakye lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Boakye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Boakye lands a firm left hook.  
Boakye lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Boakye is on target with a solid left hook to Rashed's body.  
Boakye is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Rashed could be stopped here, if Boakye can find the right shot!  Boakye lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES RASHED!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Boakye!
