Jamie Shawn vs Michael Merrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2040,  taking place on 29/03/2040 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Shawn (13 - 12(1)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Michael Merrick(1 - 1) from Portmore, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Merrick gets on the inside.  Shawn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
