Hayden Padua vs Jay Pye

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/03/2040 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hayden Padua (30 - 19) who hails from Houston, USA and Jay Pye(3 - 25(2)) from Stockton, USA.  

Round 1: 

Pye steps inside and forces Padua to back into the red corner.  Pye is on target with a stinging left hook to Padua's ribs.  
Pye pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pye lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Pye throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Pye's body.  
Pye is looking to close the distance.  Pye pivots to the right of his opponent, but Padua hits home with a right hook.  
Pye finds the target with a jab.  
Padua tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Pye is looking to close the distance.  Padua lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Padua steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Pye manouvers Padua into the blue corner.  Pye throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Padua tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Padua is on target with a right hook.  
Padua hits home with a left hook.  
Padua is on target with a cross.  
Padua lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Padua connects with a cross.
