Mark Boye vs Xayvion Aning

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2040,  taking place on 01/04/2040 from Kumasi, Ghana:

The Kumasi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Boye (19 - 18(3)) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Xayvion Aning(82(5) - 27(2)) from Accra, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Aning closes the distance.  Aning pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Aning lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aning lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Aning closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Aning throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Aning lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Boye switches the action to the outside.  Boye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Aning closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Aning lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BOYE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Boye quickly recovers. 
Boye throws a left hook, but Aning clinches his opponent.  Aning pushes his forearm into Boye's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Aning to stop fouling.  
Aning crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Boye's body.  BOYE IS HURT!  
Boye could be stopped here, if Aning can find the right shot!  Aning lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS BOYE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Boye has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Aning is on target with a right hook to Boye's ribcage.  
Aning lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aning lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Boye tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Boye throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Aning steps inside and drives a right hook into Boye's body.  
Aning connects with a right hook.  
Aning is on target with a sharp jab to Boye's body.  
Aning sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aning lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Aning holds on to his opponent.  Boye is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aning drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Aning manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Aning digs in a stinging left uppercut to Boye's liver.  Aning ties up his opponent.  Aning is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aning lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Aning sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Aning is on target with a solid right hook to Boye's body.  Aning clinches his opponent.  Boye is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Boye.  
Aning pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aning lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Aning holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aning lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Aning holds on to his opponent.  Aning tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Boye's kidney. 
Aning lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Aning lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Aning clinches his opponent.  Aning leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Boye trudges back to his corner looking very tired.  At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aning's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Aning feints a left hook, but Boye ignores the feint and responds with a left hook.  
Aning lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Aning goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Boye time to recover.  
Aning lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Aning is on target with a jab.  
Boye lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Boye lands with a stiff jab.  
Aning DETONATES a WICKED cross on his opponents face.  BOYE IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Aning!
