Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/04/2040 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Josh Storie (41 - 4) who hails from Tampa, USA and Chris Kirkpatrick(1 - 5) from Boise, USA.  

Round 1: 

Storie lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kirkpatrick hits home with a cross.

Kirkpatrick sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Storie drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Kirkpatrick throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Storie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Kirkpatrick gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Storie tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a sharp overhand right.

Kirkpatrick manouvers Storie onto the ropes.  Storie is on target with a left hook.  
Kirkpatrick throws a left hook, but Storie clinches his opponent.  Kirkpatrick uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Storie behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kirkpatrick.

Storie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kirkpatrick tries to land a cross, but Storie blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Storie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Storie is looking to keep his distance and lands with a solid jab.

Kirkpatrick gets on the inside and forces Storie to back into a corner.  Kirkpatrick throws a right hook, but Storie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kirkpatrick pushes his forearm into Storie's face.  The ref breaks Storie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
