Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/04/2040 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (44 - 10) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Chris Kirkpatrick(1 - 6) from Boise, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Kirkpatrick gets on the inside.  Jerden is on target with a right uppercut to Kirkpatrick's ribcage.  
Jerden switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden lands a jab to Kirkpatrick's body.  
Kirkpatrick closes the distance.  Jerden lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Kirkpatrick walks Jerden onto the ropes.  Kirkpatrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kirkpatrick throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Kirkpatrick advances into close range.  Jerden connects with a left hook.  
Jerden is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kirkpatrick hits home with a solid cross.  
Jerden feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden is on target with an overhand right.  
Kirkpatrick closes the distance.  Jerden lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kirkpatrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Jerden's body.  
Kirkpatrick gets on the inside.  Jerden is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Kirkpatrick lands a jab.  
Jerden backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Kirkpatrick throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Jerden finds the target with a jab.  
Kirkpatrick contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Jerden connects with an overhand left.  
Kirkpatrick connects with a right hook.  
Jerden steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jerden's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Kirkpatrick tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jerden lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kirkpatrick tries to land a right hook, but Jerden parries the shot and counters with a big cross.  KIRKPATRICK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Kirkpatrick closes the distance.  Jerden lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS KIRKPATRICK DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Jerden holds on to his opponent.  Jerden leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kirkpatrick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kirkpatrick about fouling.  It looks like Kirkpatrick has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Jerden lands a jab to Kirkpatrick's body.  
Kirkpatrick closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Jerden holds on to his opponent.  Jerden is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jerden.  
Jerden lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kirkpatrick recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kirkpatrick advances into close range.  Jerden lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Jerden is on target with a cross.  
Jerden is on target with a solid jab.  
Jerden lands a cross.  
Kirkpatrick throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Jerden steps away from his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Kirkpatrick steps inside.  Jerden lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Jerden steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kirkpatrick's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Jerden lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Jerden tries to land a jab, but Kirkpatrick slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kirkpatrick closes the distance.  Jerden lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kirkpatrick tries to land an overhand left, but Jerden slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Kirkpatrick's body.
