Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/04/2040 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Maben (36(1) - 7) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Yuichi Yoneda(1 - 4) from Chiba, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Yoneda sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Maben lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Yoneda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Yoneda throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Yoneda gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to Maben's liver.

Yoneda throws a left hook, but Maben holds on to his opponent.  Maben uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Yoneda behind the head. Maben is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Maben's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Yoneda finds the target with a jab.  
Maben drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Maben lands a cross.  
Maben closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
