Abdul Saab vs Xing-fu Li

Boxing Daily Report from the Malaysia National Finals 2040,  taking place on 11/04/2040 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:

The Kuala Lumpur venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Abdul Saab (12 - 3) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Xing-fu Li(4 - 5) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Saab contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Li throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.

Li advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Saab holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Saab pushes his forearm into Li's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Saab to stop fouling.

Saab tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Li lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Li attempts to land a jab, but Saab sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Li forces Saab to back into the ropes.  Li pivots to the right of his opponent, but Saab drives a sharp left hook into Li's ribs.  
Li sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Saab lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Saab clinches his opponent.  Saab throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Li gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Saab holds on to his opponent.  Li leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saab is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Li blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Li lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Li closes the distance.  Li pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.
