Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/04/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yuichi Hirai (71(1) - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Sergiusz Galuska(1 - 5) from Sosnowiec, Poland.  

Round 1: 

Galuska tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Galuska forces Hirai to retreat into the corner.  Galuska lands a solid left hook.  
Hirai sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Galuska gets on the inside.  Hirai lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Hirai holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hirai pushes his forearm into Galuska's face.  The referee warns Hirai and breaks the clinch.  
Hirai steps away from his opponent.  Galuska attempts to land a cross, but Hirai sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Galuska pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.  
Galuska drives a stinging cross into Hirai's body.  
Galuska quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hirai finds the target with a jab.  
Hirai steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Hirai feints a left, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Galuska quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hirai lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Hirai tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Hirai voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Galuska accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Hirai.

Galuska steps inside.  Hirai lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS GALUSKA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Hirai holds on to his opponent.  Galuska uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hirai's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hirai lands a cross.  
Hirai is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Galuska quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hirai is on target with a stinging jab.  
Hirai hits the target with a solid jab.  
Hirai lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Galuska advances into close range.  Hirai is on target with a left hook.  Hirai clinches his opponent.  Galuska is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Galuska.
