Carlos Platero vs Matviyko Zaleski

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2040 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Platero (36 - 5) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Matviyko Zaleski(1 - 1) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  

Round 1: 

Zaleski advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Zaleski's ribs.  
Platero tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zaleski lands a jab.

Platero switches the action to the outside.  Platero is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Zaleski tries to land a jab, but Platero dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Platero connects with an overhand right.  Platero attempts to land a jab, but Zaleski parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
