Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/04/2040 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Rama (21 - 9) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Ian Balch(6 - 9(2)) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Rama lands a stinging cross.  
Rama hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Rama connects with an overhand right.  
Rama sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Balch throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rama steps away from his opponent.  Rama feints a left, and then lands a sharp cross.  
Balch gets on the inside and walks Rama down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Rama hits home with a left hook.

Rama tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Balch advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Balch throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
