Paul Lindsay vs Max Balles

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/05/2040 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Lindsay (21 - 11) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Max Balles(3 - 18) from Los Angeles, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lindsay is on target with a left hook.  Lindsay throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Lindsay finds the target with a jab.  Lindsay throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Lindsay advances into close range.  Balles lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lindsay lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Balles connects with a firm right hook.  
Lindsay sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Balles is on target with a solid right hook.  
Lindsay forces Balles to retreat into a neutral corner.  Lindsay throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Balles to the neutral corner.  He lectures Lindsay but does not take away a point.  
Lindsay is looking to close the distance.  Balles throws a right uppercut, but Lindsay ties up his opponent.  Lindsay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Balles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Lindsay manages to force Balles into the corner.  Lindsay hits home with a sharp left hook.  Lindsay clinches his opponent.  Lindsay tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Balles behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lindsay lands a firm left hook.
