Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/05/2040 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nick Kenley (9 - 8) who hails from Chicago, USA and Jake Comb(15 - 13(1)) from Baton Rouge, USA.

Comb stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Kenley lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Comb steps inside.  Comb pivots to the left of his opponent, but Kenley hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Comb sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Comb attempts to land a cross, but Kenley sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Comb closes the distance and forces Kenley to back into the ropes.  Kenley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenley lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Comb is on target with a right hook.  
Kenley switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Kenley connects with a stinging cross.  
Comb lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Comb pivots from in front of his opponent, but Kenley lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Comb steps inside.  Comb pivots from in front of his opponent, but Kenley digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Kenley steps to the outside.  Kenley is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Comb drives a jab into Kenley's body.  
Comb gets on the inside and walks Kenley down, trapping him in a corner.  Comb drives a left hook into Kenley's ribs.  Kenley ties up his opponent.  Comb throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Comb pivots to the left of his opponent.  Comb throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Kenley holds on to his opponent.  Comb is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Comb tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kenley's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Comb about fouling.  
Comb steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kenley tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid jab.  
Comb gets on the inside.  Kenley lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Comb closes the distance.  Comb backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Kenley is whaling away with hooks, but Comb keeps his defence tight.  Kenley lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kenley lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Comb's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
