Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/05/2040 from Duque de Cazias, Brazil:

The Duque de Cazias venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neper Pimenta (9 - 10) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Ruud Van de Ven(0 - 2) from Breda, Netherlands.  

Round 1:

Van de Ven sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Pimenta's body.

Van de Ven steps inside and forces Pimenta to retreat into the blue corner.  Pimenta lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Van de Ven sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pimenta throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Pimenta holds on to his opponent.  Van de Ven is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Van de Ven is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pimenta lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
