Shinji Hayakawa vs Xavier Lopez

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/05/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Hayakawa (53(4) - 10) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Xavier Lopez(6 - 9) from Puebla, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Lopez feints a left, and then is on target with a jab.  
Hayakawa steps inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Hayakawa hits home with a sharp jab.  
Hayakawa advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Hayakawa drives a firm left uppercut into Lopez's body.  
Lopez switches the action to the outside.  Lopez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hayakawa lands a spiteful jab.

Hayakawa closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Hayakawa ties up his opponent.  Lopez pushes his forearm into Hayakawa's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lopez about fouling.  
Hayakawa advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  Hayakawa attempts to land a left hook, but Lopez blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Lopez attempts to land a cross, but Hayakawa sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Hayakawa advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND LOPEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Hayakawa clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hayakawa thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Lopez away.  Hayakawa lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS LOPEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hayakawa!
