Kazuki Shimizu vs Dai Nishida

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/05/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (30 - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Dai Nishida(0 - 2) from Hiroshima, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Nishida closes the distance.  Shimizu lands a solid right hook.  
Nishida attempts to land a right hook, but Shimizu sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Shimizu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nishida hits the target with a solid jab.

Shimizu feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Nishida manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Shimizu lands with a ramrod jab.

Nishida closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Nishida hits home with a left uppercut.  Shimizu clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nishida pushes his forearm into Shimizu's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nishida about fouling.
