Beau Batton vs Waltier Cissoko

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/05/2040 from Pikine, Senegal:

The Pikine venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Beau Batton (34(1) - 20) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Waltier Cissoko(23 - 18) from Pikine, Senegal.  

Round 1: 

Batton gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Cissoko lands a right hook.  
Cissoko throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cissoko pivots from in front of his opponent, but Batton drives a cross into Cissoko's body.

Batton attempts to land a left uppercut, but Cissoko blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Batton throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Batton clinches his opponent.  Cissoko pushes his forearm into Batton's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Batton forces Cissoko to retreat onto the ropes.  Batton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Batton digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Batton holds on to his opponent.  Batton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Batton's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Batton lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Batton steps inside.  Batton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cissoko throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Batton holds on to his opponent.  Cissoko is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cissoko tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Batton digs in a left uppercut to Cissoko's body.  
Batton walks Cissoko onto the ropes.  Cissoko throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Batton is on target with a left hook to Cissoko's body.  Batton holds on to his opponent.  Batton pushes his forearm into Cissoko's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Batton about fouling.  
Batton lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Cissoko now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Batton advances into close range and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Batton digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Batton gets on the inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
Batton closes the distance and slams a nasty right hook into his opponents body.  CISSOKO IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT CISSOKO CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Batton!
