Leon Hance vs Stuart Massey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/07/2040 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Hance (73(41) - 10) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Stuart Massey(1 - 1) from Geelong, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Hance closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Massey quickly recovers. 
Hance drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hance hits home with a firm left hook.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hance pushes his forearm into Massey's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Massey throws a left uppercut, but Hance ties up his opponent.  Massey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Massey to stop fouling.  
Hance drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  Hance is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hance tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Massey behind the head. The ref breaks Hance's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hance manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hance digs in a left uppercut to Massey's ribs.  
Hance lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Massey lands a sharp left hook.  
Hance gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Massey in a neutral corner.  Hance lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hance throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hance ties up his opponent.  Hance pushes his forearm into Massey's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Massey gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Massey throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hance lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hance lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  Massey leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hance is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hance and breaks the clinch.  
Hance is on target with a jab.  Hance tries to land a jab, but Massey blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hance drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hance lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Hance closes the distance.  Hance sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Massey almost instantly recovers. 
Hance lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hance advances into close range.  Massey connects with a left hook.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  Hance leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Massey throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Massey throws a left hook, but Hance holds on to his opponent.  Hance leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hance lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Hance lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  It looks like Massey has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hance lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Massey almost instantly gets his legs back.

Round 2: 

Hance lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hance lands with a hard jab.  
Hance steps inside.  Hance pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Massey almost instantly recovers. 
Hance advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Massey's body.  
Hance quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hance lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hance lands a hurtful cross.  MASSEY IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Hance could be enough to finish Massey!  Hance lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND DROPS MASSEY!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Massey now seems to have his senses back.  
Hance lands a stinging left hook.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  Hance leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hance lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hance lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Hance ties up his opponent.  Hance leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hance lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hance sidesteps to the right of his opponent and slams a big left hook into Massey's liver.  MASSEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Hance senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Hance slams a spiteful left uppercut into Massey's body.  MASSEY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Hance!
