The Bologna venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Luca Fabio (30 - 10(1)) who hails from Modena, Italy and Mauro Abate(3 - 17) from Rome, Italy.

Abate pivots to the side of his opponent, but Fabio lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Abate finds the target with a jab.  
Fabio gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Fabio clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Abate pushes his forearm into Fabio's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abate to stop fouling.  
Fabio digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abate lands a right hook.  Abate tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fabio throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Fabio digs in a left hook to Abate's body.  
Fabio is looking to close the distance.  Abate lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Fabio holds on to his opponent.  Fabio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Fabio drives a telling left hook into Abate's body.  ABATE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Fabio!
