Boxing Daily Report from the Tehran 2040 Olympic Boxing Championships,  taking place on 13/07/2040 from Tehran, Iran:

The Tehran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rocco Chiaventi (14 - 5) who hails from Bologna, Italy and Fresco Nuncio(26(6) - 10) from Santa Clara, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Nuncio attempts to land a left hook, but Chiaventi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Chiaventi steps away from his opponent.  Nuncio lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Nuncio gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Nuncio connects with a firm overhand left.  
Nuncio steps inside and manages to force Chiaventi onto the ropes.  Nuncio is on target with a firm right hook to Chiaventi's ribcage.  
Chiaventi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nuncio closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Chiaventi throws a right hook, but Nuncio ties up his opponent.  Nuncio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Nuncio and breaks the clinch.
