Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/08/2040 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Olindo Ruedas (37(1) - 7) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Gauvain Lemartin(13 - 14) from Pikine, Senegal.  

Round 1: 

Lemartin connects with a cross.  Lemartin throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Lemartin closes the distance and manouvers Ruedas onto the ropes.  Lemartin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ruedas lands a left hook.  Ruedas ties up his opponent.  Ruedas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ruedas and breaks the clinch.  
Ruedas switches the action to the outside.  Lemartin lands a cross.  
Lemartin throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Ruedas sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Lemartin hits home with an overhand left.  
Ruedas lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ruedas sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Lemartin is on target with a firm cross.  
Ruedas feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.
