Geoff Reekie vs Martyn Neagle

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2040 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Geoff Reekie (47 - 5) who hails from Dallas, USA and Martyn Neagle(2 - 5) from Chesapeake, USA.  

Round 1: 

Neagle hits home with a cross.  
Reekie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Neagle attempts to land a cross, but Reekie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Reekie feints a cross, fooling Neagle into throwing a right hook counter.  Reekie springs the trap, countering with  a sharp cross.  
Reekie hits home with a cross.  
Reekie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Neagle connects with a cross.  
Reekie lands a sharp jab.  
Reekie steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Neagle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Neagle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to Reekie's body.  
Neagle is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Reekie's liver.  
Reekie lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Neagle pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Reekie's body.

Neagle steps inside.  Neagle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Reekie drives a right hook into Neagle's ribs.  
Neagle cuts off the ring, trapping Reekie on the ropes.  Neagle pivots to the right of his opponent.  Neagle attempts to land a left hook, but Reekie slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Neagle steps inside.  Neagle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Reekie throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Neagle is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Neagle forces Reekie to back into the blue corner.  Neagle lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Neagle advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Reekie lands a jab.  
Reekie lands a jab.  
Neagle gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Reekie clinches his opponent.  Neagle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Reekie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Reekie throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Reekie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Reekie pushes his forearm into Neagle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Neagle gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Reekie blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.
