The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iwao Oshiro (28 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Lorenzo Melo(1 - 1) from Recife, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Oshiro attempts to land a jab, but Melo sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Melo steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Oshiro dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Melo pivots from in front of his opponent, but Oshiro connects with a cross.  
Oshiro gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Melo's ribcage.

Melo lands with a sharp jab.

Oshiro advances into close range.  Melo throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Oshiro ties up his opponent.  Oshiro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Melo pushes his forearm into Oshiro's face.  The referee warns Melo and breaks the clinch.  
Melo attempts to land a jab, but Oshiro slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Oshiro advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Oshiro sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Melo lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Oshiro advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Oshiro forces Melo to retreat onto the ropes.  Oshiro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a solid right hook.

Oshiro advances into close range and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Oshiro ties up his opponent.  Melo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Oshiro walks Melo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Melo throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Oshiro steps inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Melo's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Oshiro is looking to close the distance.  Oshiro lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  The winner by KO is Oshiro!
