Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/08/2040 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (49 - 10) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Zach Pewitt(0 - 3) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jerden closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Jerden clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jerden pushes his forearm into Pewitt's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jerden about fouling.  
Jerden steps inside.  Jerden pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to Pewitt's ribcage.

Pewitt is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Jerden closes the distance.  Jerden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Jerden walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Pewitt throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Jerden pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Pewitt's ribs.  
Jerden pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Jerden pivots from in front of his opponent.  Jerden is on target with a stinging right hook.  Jerden tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Pewitt is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pewitt feints a jab, but Jerden does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut.
