Hubert Fossey vs Emilio Pellicani

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/09/2040 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hubert Fossey (17 - 6) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Emilio Pellicani(2 - 5) from Florence, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Fossey lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Fossey gets on the inside.  Fossey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Fossey lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Fossey tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pellicani switches the action to the outside.  Fossey connects with a solid cross.  
Fossey lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Pellicani feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Fossey is looking to close the distance.  Pellicani attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Fossey time to recover.  
Pellicani lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fossey is looking to close the distance and forces Pellicani to back into a corner.  Pellicani hits home with a right uppercut.  
Pellicani lands a cross.  Pellicani throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Fossey's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Fossey lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fossey snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Fossey finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Pellicani switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Pellicani tries to land a left uppercut, but Fossey slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fossey gets on the inside.  Pellicani is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Fossey tries to land a right hook, but Pellicani dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fossey is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Fossey closes the distance.  Fossey sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pellicani throws a left hook, but Fossey clinches his opponent.  Fossey uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pellicani's kidney.
