Fanuco Santa vs Jaguar Borba

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/09/2040 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fanuco Santa (41 - 13) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Jaguar Borba(4 - 4) from Salvador, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Santa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Borba lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Santa steps away from his opponent.  Borba hits home with a firm cross.  
Borba advances into close range and manages to force Santa into a corner.  Borba throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Borba hits home with a left uppercut.  
Santa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Santa steps away from his opponent.  Borba tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Borba walks Santa onto the ropes.  Borba sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Santa hits home with a cross.  
Borba sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Santa lands a stiff jab.  
Borba gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Santa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Borba connects with a solid right hook.  
Borba steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Santa in the corner.  Santa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
