Obaid Abu vs Dale Magie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/09/2040 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Obaid Abu (1 - 6) who hails from Southampton, UK and Dale Magie(5 - 16) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Magie walks Abu onto the ropes.  Magie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Magie feints a cross, and then strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Abu steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Abu switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abu throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abu steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Magie steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Abu is whaling away with hooks, but Magie keeps his defence tight.  
Abu tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abu is looking to keep his distance and drives a cross into Magie's body.  
Magie lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Magie's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Abu tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Magie parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Abu tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Abu hits home with a left hook.  
Abu tries to land an overhand left, but Magie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
