Declan Magcalas vs John Enrique

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/09/2040 from Davao City, Philippines:

The Davao City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Declan Magcalas (16 - 26) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and John Enrique(3 - 11) from Davao City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Magcalas hits home with a firm cross.  
Magcalas switches the action to the outside.  Magcalas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Enrique throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Enrique closes the distance.  Magcalas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Magcalas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Enrique pushes his forearm into Magcalas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Enrique.
