Sung-ryong Yu vs Desiderio Escovedo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/10/2040 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sung-ryong Yu (10 - 18) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Desiderio Escovedo(1 - 0) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.

Yu manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Yu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Escovedo's body.

Yu manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Yu hits home with a left hook.  
Yu lands a left uppercut.  
Yu hits home with a left hook.  
Yu lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Escovedo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Yu advances into close range.  Escovedo connects with a left uppercut.  Escovedo attempts to land a left hook, but Yu parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Yu closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Yu walks Escovedo down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Yu digs in a right hook to Escovedo's body.  Yu ties up his opponent.  Yu pushes his forearm into Escovedo's face.  The referee warns Yu and breaks the clinch.  
Escovedo lands a left hook.  
Escovedo is on target with a left hook.  Yu holds on to his opponent.  Yu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
