Adam Howells vs Carlos Sardina

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/10/2040 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Adam Howells (64(3) - 7) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Carlos Sardina(5 - 3) from Irapuato, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Howells gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sardina throws a left hook, but Howells holds on to his opponent.  Sardina hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Howells leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Howells drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Sardina lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sardina sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sardina attempts to land a jab, but Howells sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Howells is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Howells throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Howells clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Howells pushes his forearm into Sardina's face.  The ref breaks Howells's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sardina is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
Sardina tries to land a right hook, but Howells blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Sardina throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Howells is on target with a firm left hook.  
Sardina connects with a stinging cross.  
Sardina switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  Sardina attempts to land a jab, but Howells blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Sardina throws a right hook, but Howells holds on to his opponent.  Howells throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Howells.  
Sardina contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Howells is on target with a left hook.

Howells quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells drives a stinging right hook into Sardina's ribs.  Howells ties up his opponent.  Howells leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Howells is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  Howells holds on to his opponent.  Howells pushes his forearm into Sardina's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Howells about fouling.

Sardina throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Howells ties up his opponent.  Howells is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Howells connects with a firm left hook.  
Sardina tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sardina lands a spiteful jab.  
Howells is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  Howells throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Sardina pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sardina tries to land a jab, but Howells sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Howells gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Howells lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Howells gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sardina almost instantly recovers. 
Howells digs in a stinging right hook to Sardina's ribs.  
Howells sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Howells thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Sardina away.  Howells lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS SARDINA DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Howells!
