Rodrigo Ferrin vs Martyn Neagle

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/10/2040 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Ferrin (35 - 16) who hails from San Jose, USA and Martyn Neagle(2 - 11) from Chesapeake, USA.  

Round 1: 

Ferrin steps away from his opponent.  Neagle finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Neagle gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Ferrin steps to the outside.  Neagle lands an overhand right.  
Neagle steps inside and manages to force Ferrin into a neutral corner.  Neagle throws a left hook, but Ferrin clinches his opponent.  Ferrin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ferrin and breaks the clinch.  
Neagle steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.

Ferrin throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

Ferrin steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Neagle is looking to close the distance.  Neagle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Ferrin hits home with a firm left hook.  Ferrin clinches his opponent.  Neagle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Neagle hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Ferrin switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.

Ferrin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Neagle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ferrin behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
