Mikio Matsuo vs Hajime Inaba

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2040 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mikio Matsuo (26 - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hajime Inaba(0 - 2) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Matsuo steps inside.  Matsuo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matsuo lands a stinging right hook.  Matsuo clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Matsuo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Matsuo connects with a right hook.  Matsuo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Inaba's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Inaba throws a left hook, but Matsuo ties up his opponent.  Inaba pushes his forearm into Matsuo's face.  The referee warns Inaba and breaks the clinch.  
Matsuo gets on the inside.  Inaba digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Inaba lands a right hook.  Inaba throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Inaba throws a right uppercut, but Matsuo clinches his opponent.  Inaba leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Matsuo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Matsuo and breaks the clinch.  
Inaba pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Inaba lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Matsuo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Matsuo lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Matsuo is looking to close the distance and connects with a firm right uppercut.  Matsuo holds on to his opponent.  Matsuo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Matsuo throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Matsuo clinches his opponent.  Matsuo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Inaba attempts to land a left uppercut, but Matsuo sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook to Inaba's body.  
Inaba throws a right hook, but Matsuo ties up his opponent.  Matsuo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
